CD back ups that work & dont work with Swap Magic 2

    what do you mean cd backup? those games are dvd, did you copy the dvd directly?

    dude you are right..they are DVD games
    but obviously if they are cd back ups then they'd have to be ripped
    hope that clears it up for ya

    You have to realize that it is not going to work because it is not original its a ripped game and not all of them work with swapped magic if some of the original files are not included on the disk.

    people have to get their shit straight. only say if it works or not if you copied it 1:1 with good media.

    ok i hope people realize why ps2 games are on DVD cuz they exceed 800 MB... so when i say CD back up it should mean they are ripped therefore they can fit into CDRs....so if i get criticize for trying to help then so be it at least i am out here trying and not blah blahin people off

    and SCURVY...there are no such things as 1:1 other wise people wouldnt be in this Forum and there would be no such things as MODCHIPS etc.. etc.. etc..

    umm put the damn dvd in your computer and copy it.

    ok scurvy and knoxl, you are telling me you play your back ups with out the help of any modchip or magic disc or any alterations to your ps2. riiiight..... sure.... if it was 1:1 Game companies wouldnt make sheeit... and people wouldnt be in this forum complainin

    on the list up there you state that tenchu and king of route 66 dont work. that "might" be true if they are ripped to cd, but doing a 1:1 copy on to DVD-R, both those games work perfectly for me. Copying a PS2 disc, whether it's cd or dvd IS a 1:1 copy, we all know that a mod of some sorts is needed to boot any backup, if it wasn't we wouldn't be here, so thats kinda a "gimme".

    more like .99:1
    1:1 equals 1 copy and 1 original
    the original works 100%
    the copied does not because there is something missing in the copy
