So I'm trying to rebuild my Leisure Suit Larry disc, and I get the following messages when I hit record:

The Recording Unit is not connected.

    Initialization failed.

I don't get it. I've got this Pioneer DVD+-RW drive that I've used for over a year, and Nero sees it just fine. In fact, when I hit Options > Inquiry, it sees the drive as the third on the list out of four. Any ideas as to what I can do to get it to work?

this is normal for cd/dvd gen as it only supports a few writers(there is a cd/dvd gen patching program on ps2ownz that adds support for some extra writers but i have never used it so dont know how well it works)if it don't support your writer just keep clicking ok and you will eventualy get to create your image file

You need to visit PS2Ownz.com and download the patcher for Sony CD/DVD Generator 1.50, as it forces support for Pioneer and NEC DVD-RW drives!
