CD-R vs. CD+R

    I'm going to buy a DVD Burner in the near future but I'm wondering if theres any differences between CD-R and CD+R? Thanks.

    the diffrence is there is no such thing as a cd+r

    i think he meant dvd+r and dvd-r
    correct?

    Why not just go for dual format burner like the Sony DRU500 or the Pioneer A06?
