CD-RW formating

    hi i was wondering i heared that you have to format Cd-rw's before you can burn cd's is this true? i have momorex cd-rws if that makes a diffrence

    When you buy the disc obviously they have no data on them which means the first time you put them in your cd-writer it should burn no problems. However in order to use that disc again you will have to erase it before you can put any more data onto it. Most burning software will have this option. I normally use clone cd to erase my discs.

    do i need to do a quick erase or full erase?

    Either quick or full rease will work. Full erase takes a lot longer though.
