   After re-installing XP on my PC I suddenly have troubles with my CDRW, Philips CDRW800. Nero says that the the cd-rom is used by another application, but even within XP I cannot copy to my CDRW. As far as I can see XP doesn't recognize the CDRW not as a writer any more, but as a normal CDROM.
   
   Am I correct when I assume my CDRW has broken down?

   Normally i might think not.... given that it is a Phillips... probably.
