I just got my phone this week and it displays AT&T most of the time but it will all of the sudden display emergency. I know I am within my covered area. I went by and picked up an upgraded SIM card last evening but it is still happening. Anyone have any ideas on how to correct this?
mine does the same thing. the scumbag who sold me the phone said its not the phone, its my sim card. bullshit. ive had phones from CECT and they ALWAYS do this. how do i fix the problem? i sure would like to know!
I would only guess the issue is that since your phone is not picking up the 850 signal, it goes into emergency when just to the outside of its tri-band capability. I have the same problem with any triband phone. It has nothing to do with your sim. if you put your sim in an unlocked quad band it would perform just fine
