I know the *-* media is suggested rather then using *+* media because some ps2's don't like *+* media. But I was told that I need a DVD-RW RAM drive. Is there such thing and is it true? I was hoping to get just a regular dvd burner that burns - media at a max of 4-8x because they are fairly inexpensive which is really nice. I used the search button didn't find anything concerning this topic I know I can get alot of info about burning ps2 games but this one seems to be un-answered let alone asked.

If you have a newer system, you can use both +/- media for your backups.

You can use any DVD burner.
