hey i have the solderles le s P&e chip, and i was wondering, do i need to change anything on the chip before i try to flash it, and since it just seems to say loading and then waits a hell of a long time, does anyone know where i can buy the programmer.. thanks
No don't change the dip switches. Try burning the bios on a CD-RW... don't forget to rename it to LINUXBIO.BIN , be sure also to NOT burn it in Joliet. Don't do an ISO of the files and if it doesn't work try adding a 250 megs file named DUMMY.BIN ... good luck! www.easybuy2000.com have the programmer but these times they take forever to ship things (but then again, maybe that for the programmer it will be fast)
they are out of stock at easybuy and supposedly xodus has broken off relations with them now, i dont know if that effects getting the programmer or not though, just wondering...
