Ok, I'm kinda pushing my luck, hoping that some UK guys who own DVD-R/RW drives would have suggestions for me. I've been desperately trying to find a relatively cheap webstores in the UK who would sell DVD-R media for reasonable price.

Best what I've found so far is this:

    http://www.ukcdsonline.co.uk/

Appx. £3 / piece for DVD-RW media (which is nice, but I'd rather pay £1 for DVD-Rs, but can't find that kinda deals anywhere).

Dixons & other morons ask whopping £15 a piece for blank DVD-Rs.

...and for our U.S./other European users who are wondering wtf, 1 GBP/£ is now appx. US$1.50 and EUR1.75.

Gee, things must be nice in the US. Cheapest place I can find a Maxell DVD-R in Japan is 560 yen, which is about 3 British pounds...

Yeah, US market is full of no-name DVD-Rs now for less than $2 a piece, but I'm very unwilling to order anything from the U.S. because of the hassle with customs, VAT, etc. In the UK, it seems that 1% of the IT users even know that there are DVD-R writers in the market :)

Well I've found an even better site - 99p a disc for general purpose - if you buy 25 it's 24.99 including full size DVD boxes...

    The URL is http://www.bigpockets.co.uk

    How about that then?
