    Yes... I know a free one and a game. Not sure about the game. The free one is a homebrew app and therefore only homebrew enabled PSP's can play it. You can too if your PSP is on CFW or 1.50.

    I think it was PSPchess lol. Don't take my word for it, I'm not the most rememberful person :p . I found it over at dl.qj.net however...

    try Ultimate Board Game Collection i think it has ad-hoc and game sharing it have chess and a lot of other games

    How about chinese chess, or wei qi? Rather good AI...
