Hello, I've been thinking about getting a Wii Modchip, but I'm unsure which to get.

I've been reading about them and so far the best ones out there seems to be the wiikey and wiid (even if it has an odd name to it).

I really don't care about home brew or emulators too much (has xbox for that). However I'm looking for a chip that can play game cube backup's Seeing as I have a modded game cube, Well some of the time I have to re solder it alot to get it to work. which is why I'm wanting to get a wii-chip.

I hear there is problems with an update not coming from wiikey, which should been there in may. which is why i'm tending to lean more to the wiid chip.

I hear the wiid chip is able to play more gamecube backups? does this work with the naruto games? (I'm an anime fan and I also wondering if I should wait untill the game's are supported to get a chip)

Last I heard, WiiD can play Naruto games that have audio streaming (not Naruto GNT EX for Wii though). I would say that If you have ANY of the Naruto GC games, you should get the WiiD.

I have a Wiikey. Bleach GC and Wii work fine. Same with Battlestadium D.O.N.

All my Wii Imports work so far save Naruto GNT EX.

Thats good yet sad news, I have an backup of the naruto 4 game for gamecube, but I have the real game of naruto 2 for the game cube yet in japanese (I got it along time ago.)

I know the wiid and wiikey has the option to upgrade would the upgrades be able to fix this in the future? (if the upgrades come)
