Hi, i am having trouble setting up a network connection on my PS2
    i have a SCPH-50003 V9 PS2 console, with a matrix infinity 1.38 chip installed.

I am using the network startup disc that came with the PS2 network adaptor to setup a network connection,
the connection test starts off connecting fine with ping test, tracroute test all ok,
but then it comes to the the final part of the test when it tests DNAS, i get an error -402 (Failed DNAS Test).

I am using an official network startup disc to do this, Not a copy.

Its not my internet/router connection because i have been playing PS2 games online for months with my other PS2, i have just today got another PS2 console, which is chipped, but this new chipped one i got doesent seem to want to connect.

Not sure what the problem is with it, help much appreciated.

turn off the chip if there's an option.the chip should be turned off when playing originals.
