Chipping a PS2 V8 Unit...

    I just recieved my clone messiah 2 chip in the mail today. I got so excited, I got in my car & went to buy a new PS2 unit. To my surprise all the had was PS2 V8 units. Can I Chip the V8 units using the Messiah 2 clone???????

    No you can't. The clone chips are clones of the old Messiah code, 1.07 I believe. Only the messiah 1.3 code works on a V8 console. by the way, how do you know you have a V8 system?

    Well there are no V8 systems in the US. I figured he was in another contry. From what my sources have told me, the new V9 systems will have a 50001/N designation on them and will come in the same kind of box the current V7 network bundles do.
