    Hi! i am going deaf and I wonder if
    anyone could tell me how to put the
    closed captioning from TV into a mpeg
    file.

    Hi there. As one deafie to another, there are several excellent articles to this. The simplest and least confusing I've found so far is at http://www.vcdhelp.com/forum/userguides/87065

    There are several other excellent tutorials on there if you're a confused newbie like me who wouldn't know a frameserve if it kicked me up the arse.

    Thanks anyway but I already know how to add
    subtitles from a DVD. I want to find out how
    to add closed captioning from a TV program
