    What i mean is what is the extension? Is it .mov, .mpeg, .dv? To find out if you dont know how just right click and go to properties; then tell me what it says under type.

    VLC media player, gom media player, winamp version 5 or later can playback Xvid files. They are freeware and you just have to search a little to get them. If you cant contact me.
