    MrToast,
Are you talking about standard ps2 cases or fliptop cases? I've seen a rather nice blue fliptop at http://www.ps2fliptop.com at a very reasonable price.

I'm actually thinking about painting my PS2 a nice shiny dull white. But I'm also curious to see some pics.

Also, I did want to let everyone know that if you do intend on painting your "units" to use krylon indoor/outdoor paints. Use the grey sandable primer first after you lightly sand the ps2 case with fine grit paper then put two coats of paint and two coats of clear coat on it. I have done a few now and it comes out looking great. Just wait 45 minutes between coats when you do it. Mine is a really cool blue but Im working on a glow in the dark one!!! Should be neat!

Actually Toast, when I went to a local paint shop, one of the managers told me that a plastic only base primer just came out..so I'm gonna be using that instead.

Cool, that should work but I have had great luck with the Krylon paints, the plastics paints seemed to me to be a little dull but please let me know how it goes. Also get some automotive pin stripe and ues that to detail before you prime, then pull it off before the top coat. Its for the logo and on any other area use heavy duty invisable scotch tape and that works great!

    steps
1.primer(let paint stick to ps2 without peeling)
    2.paint
3.clearcoat protects the paint and adds shine

Sorry, wifes birthday and I didnt get back for a few days. Yes the top coat is for the protection of the unit but it makes the unit shine or makes it dull! I am now trying to coat a shell with an automotive clear coat and then Im buffing it to a mirror finish, like what you would see on a car. Its looking good but is expensive! I have so much fun with these! I painted one to look like a piece of stone with the "fleck" paint! Im sorry I dont have any pictures, im still working on a digital camera. Hey maybe I should paint that too..._X_X_X_X_X_[small]Do it right anytime, everytime-[/small]

hey! I just changed the LED in my dual shock 2 controller, looks cool. Used a led from radioshack and now the led is bright blue, not red.
