I want to make a back up copy of my 4 disk set from The Shield Season I. I figure that I can compress this to only 2 DVD-R disks. The total run time is 10 hours and 17 minutes, which includes alot of extras. What I want to do is to rip the DVD's to my computer, compress to 2 DVD's, and create a menu for the seperate shows. Is this possible, if so where can I find a tutorial? Thanks.

I found this guide that I think it will work, but I will need to experiement. Not sure if I fully understand how to do what I am trying to do. I want to compress the 4 DVD's that came in the set to 2 DVD's. I want to create a menu that has 2 track menu's each for the 2 compressed disks, and chapters for each episode inside those tracks. Let me know what you think.
