how do I disable the DNS safety valve only from the app? it interferes with website access. or is that a function of the firewall? I do not see a tab to disable either. after an hour or so of site opening/closings the DNS refuses to allow most sites from reopening. I need to restart the system for access. that does not always work either. instructions I have seen apply to either/both pro, internet security, or CIS. NOT free AV. solutions please? this applies to all 7 browsers, some FIREFOX variants, others not. including IE8.
issue fixed. Iinstalled a dedicated uninstaller, ran it, reinstall AV 11 with all boxes UNCHECKED, no dns installed, uninstalled DRAGON browser as a precaution, left existing browsers. so far so good. there seemed to be no other way to do this.
