compass -r and +r, any experiences? (cheap media)

    is there anyone who has ever tried the compass media? this is new media for me, and they're in a package of 50+r, 50-r and 100 dvd boxes for only EUR 41.00

    videohelp doesn't help me out. the selling site says the compass media is produced in europe but doesnt give a media code.

    the discs are OEM with MID POMSC001002. You can now find them on www.dvdmonaco.com

    I couldn't locate any MID codes for compass at my source. That MID code that mst1966 posted doesn't ring a bell!

    I'd be very skeptical of them. Best off to stick with the brand names that gurnard posted.

    I agree that TY's are the best, but as far as cheap (as in cost, not quality) is concerned, there are some real alternatives out there, just as long as they are backed up with quality testing and compatibility info. You can find this for Compass on www.acmemedia.it.
