I'm in a market for a new laptop which all now use Window Vista operating system. I have read few threads in this forum that Vista does not allow these programs (Shrink, dvd decrypter, etc.) to run properly.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue so I can make a good choice in taking my dvd buring experience on the road with me.

    Thanks a bunch!

    ricks1 ,
The Son has no problem using Shrink on his Vista Laptop. He does though use DVDFAB Decrypter to rip the DVD's to HD. He then uses either FixVTS or VobBlanker to make sure the structure is correct and then uses either DVDShrink or DVD-RB to compress the DVD. You can though use Vista in the Compatibility Mode using Administrator settings and DVDD should also work
