Hello, I have a Pioneer DVD player, and was wondering if I would be able to use my backups on it. I looked in the user manual at the compatible media forms and it shows my DVD Video however I cannot find anything about recordable DVDs, the manual mentions that video cd and cd, recordable cds, and rewritable cds can be played. Does it not mention recordable DVDs because it cannot play them or for some other reason? Any help would be appreciated!

I have a DV-434 model and want to use Memorex media, if anyone has had experience with Memorex media + or -, I would appreciate knowing how it worked for you. Thanks!

goto http://www.dvdrhelp.com and have a look at the compatitbility section on the left hand side.....

Locate your player and see what other users have posted.........

I would be surprised if the Pioneer would have any probs with any format......(it would depend on the age the player aswell for +r)
