    Hi all,

I have looked into flashing my xbox 360 and have found that my chipset is apparently compatible according to http://www.ixtreme.net/archived-ixtreme-1-61-flashing-support/470-compatible-chipsets.html. Jungleflasher will not recognize the drive though. Can anyone confirm this chipset with me?

    IDE Channel [Controller] (3x)
    Intel(R) 82801G (ICH7 Family) Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 27DF
    Intel(R) 82801GB/GR/GH (ICH7 Family) Serial ATA Storage Controller - 27C0

    Thanks to all

You need more than that to flash. Special tools are required depending on what drive you have in your xbox. If you want to flash any drive invest in a lizard. Slims require drilling to the chip

    Thanks Modking30,

It was already flashed previously by someone which did drill to the chip as it is a winbond. I just thought that now that had been done I could just hook it up to my pc via sata and flash with Jungleflasher. Thanks mate
