    Hey guys,
So listen, I have a bad 19' inch TV (not HDTV). I've been playing my Wii on it because my family members are always watching the big screen TV. Well, I have this nice 26' inch computer MONITOR that no one uses. It's in good condition and I would like to put it to good use. I've found a website called Deal Extreme and they seem to be sellng a Component Video to VGA Adapter for the Wii/Xbox/PS3 etc. Do you think I'll be able to hook it up to my monitor? By the way, I don't want to power up the PC while I'm at it. All I want is the monitor and the Wii. Do you think it's possible? Please give me your opinions and if you suggest doing it or not.

    Thanks for your time

The VGA adaptor would most likely work, but does your monitor have speakers built into it? If not, you would need to connect to an outer sound source, like a home theater system or something...
