I'm building a computer for mainly photo editing and web surfing, and need a more experienced opinion on the compatibility of these parts.

    Motherboard: Asus P8Z77
    Processor: Intel Core i5 2320
    RAM: 2 x Kingston HyperX Genesis 4GB
    Case: Cooler Master Elite 310
Hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 500 GB 16 MB 7200 RPM
    Disk drive: Asus DRW-24B5ST
    Power supply: Corsair CX500W V2

Also, if something just seems unusual or strange, let me know! This is only my second build.

Yep, all compatible. Graphic capability of the CPU should be sufficient.

Just ask if you want more info on compatibility - ie, so you don't need to ask.
