recently i downloaded the entire series of a show and i want to burn them all to dvd so i can watch them on my standalone dvd player. If i burnt them all it would be like 30 dvds cause there are 30 gb of them so can i compress to get more on 1 dvd?

30GB would only require 7-8 DVD's, not 30. Try DVDshrink or similar program if you still need to compress more, but you have to author the DVD to your hard drive first (using the large files) then compress it to fit on DVD. Just don't compress too much or quality will suffer.

But then you are going to introduce menu's etc,..
    personally,disk's the price they are,just stick to 1 per disk,much easier,and quicker,and then at least if a disk gets damaged,you only lose 1 episode,and not 2 or 3
