computer rebooting continuously ( hijackthis log )

    Hi
    Since this morning my computer is rebooting once I try to launch Hijackthis.
    I managed to succes having one log ( see end of this post).
    i think that i got a virus from a friend s usb key.
    My os is winxp sp2 with ie 7;
    if so meone can help me with my Hijackthis log.
    Also note that i can t no more launch my antivirus bitdefender.

    * Unzip HostsXpert.zip
    * Double click on HostsXpert.exe
    * Then click on "Restore Original Hosts" to restore your Hosts file to its default condidtion..

    IMPORTANT : Don't click on the "Save Scan Report" button before you did hit the "Apply all Actions" button.
    * Make sure that Set all elements to: shows Quarantine (1), if not click on the link and choose Quarantine from the popup menu. (2)
    * At the bottom of the window click on the Apply all Actions button. (3)

    * When done, click the Save Scan Report button. (4)
    * Click the Save Report as button.
    * Save the report to your Desktop.
    * Right-click the AVG Anti-Spyware Tray Icon and select Exit. Confirm by clicking Yes.
    Reboot in Normal Mode.

    thank you for your concern.
    Yesteday continuing to try and guessing that it was a virus I reinstalled bitdefender, updated it and run a scan: it found a virus named Brontok.F and repaired it.
    After that i made a deep scan and also installed ccleaner and adaware se.

    Finally! I ended up reinstalling my windows xp.
    The reason is that i wanted also to clean evrything and have anew start.

    Yes, as Etzo said, this is an infection with BRONTOK worm which is very bad one, bad like hell!!!

    Well, Glad you sort it out but you shuoldn't do it that way (reinstalling your OS), you should use CaSIR v1.0!
