I'm running XP SP2 but when the machine won't recognize my SD cards (Panasonic, just 256M in size. Nothing huge). It worked fine when I was running Win2K. Device Manager says my USB port is operating and it does show up in the Disk Manager but not with a drive letter. I've tried booting up with the card plugged in and that doesn't work. If I haven't made my problem clear yet it is simply, when i plug a card in it doesn't show up as a drive letter and it used to. And if it matters there is drive letter F: available.

Please help. Nobody else I've talked to ever heard of this problem.

is that SD straight to the computer or through a USB hookup?

Maybe the motherboard drivers weren't installed for either SD or USB use. If thats the case get ur motherboard drivers and install drivers.

Does your printer have a SD port if so try using that instead.
