I've got my Wii set up with the HBC and Configurable USB Loader. I only ever play two of my Wii games, and those are the only ones I -really- want to keep on an external HD or SDHC. I found a good deal on both storage solutions at Newegg.com: one is a 16GB SDHC (which should fit both games) for around $20, and the other is a 250GB external HD (which would fit all my Wii games) for around $40.

    A few questions:

    - What is the read/write speed of an SDHC card vs. external HD (assuming I play games using Configurable USB Loader on Wii)?

    - Can I comfortably play full Wii games off an SDHC?

    - Does it even make sense to have a 250GB HD to store games in, when I really only want to play two games?

    Thanks!

As long as you put the SD into a holder and plug into the USB0 Slot, both will work fine, read time for both is irrelevant for playing, both are faster than the wii requires, both will work fine. The choice is yours - however long term hard drives are usually more reliable long term that a USB drive
