Hi guys, I have a Samsung DVD player which supports up to 1080i. It has component and DVI-I outputs. My tv is a Philips HDTV which has component and VGA input, and also supports up to 1080i. However, when I connect the dvd player through component, the TV only allows 480p to work. Is there any way to get this working in 720p or 1080i? Any help would be appreciated. My DVD model is HD-931. My TV model is 46pp9302.
