ok now i know this isnt exactly wat this forum is ment for but it seems the closet to me...

as the title says im trying to hook up my n64 to my computer.

my computure as a video capture card and has video in using the red/white/yellow wires (also have s-video in)

this compt looks the same on the outside as mine (might help)

im using windows xp media edition

ok on my first try i tired to connect it through the cable (because thats how my n64 was made to be connected) but when i turned on the n64 all i got was static on all channals (even channals 3 and 4)

now i connected my n64 to a vcr/dvd player which is connected to my computer using those red/white/yellow wires...

i just reliezed i dont know how to play a vhs/dvd on my computer using this. :S

im running out of ideas... :(
