connecting problems

    greetings of the day every 1

    ok i have just bought a wireless router linksys and i connect my laptop wireless to that....now when im trying to hardwire my pc throught the wireless router i get an msg of limited or no connectivity on my desktop pc...plz help me out here.i dont know wat do do

    Just make sure, dhcp is enabled on your router,
    and that your computer is set to automatically obtain ip address.

    Also go to

    start
    run
    cmd

    type in
    netsh
    then type in
    int
    and then type in
    reset all


    that will reset the winsock on your computer.

    Make sure you are also using proper straightthru cable to connect to the router.

    And If all else fails, reset the router.

    Buy new cables,

    And troubleshoot from there.
