Hi. I've connected my soundcard (integrated RealTek AC'97) to the amplifier via optic cable. The problem is that i get no sound. The amplifier finds the new connection etc. and everything seems to be ok in that end. I can't find any kind of button that would enable/disable digital output in my computer.

all depends on your motherboard ! .. AC'97 (often referred as SoundMax) does not always come with Digital Ouput. Check your mobo specifications on the manufacturer's site !
