    Hello all,

I am in desperate need for advice please,

I have recorded a film on my Toshiba DVR20 but when I put the DVD into the mac (os x 10.5.8) there appears to be no TS file or files / folders, it appears as it is blank!

I want to edit the adverts out.

So I am in a position where I have got 2 x DVD with all the data on but I cant get the files!

(Perhaps because it has been finalized)

The film has recorded and all the content is on the DVD's because i have played it back in unit!

so it's frustrating because i cant bring the files in to my edit suite to chop ? but there must be a way ?

    Many thanks in advance

    oops sorry:
To Finalize the disc is good, because if you don`t Finalize only the recorder will see the disc.
Sound like your edit suite doesn`t support .VOB files. That what in the video_ts file, among others, but the .vob are the ones to edit.
Try goggle for program to edit .vob files for mac. You can also try search here.
Good Luck Maybe someone else will key that knows more.
