Content Protect is a children content filter Correct?
Did it ask for a password when you installed it.
It makes sense that a password would be needed to remove it so a kid could not uninstall it. I would tend to think when it was installed the program asked for the installer to enter a password.

weird how it wasnt a password to uninstal.

i wonder, yimmmy, try a program called ccleaner. iam not sure but it would be interesting if that needed a password.

did you install this program? is it your computer?

how the heck does that work?

anyway, to throw thousands of passwords at it would be a waste of time. so why do you need this off so bad?

I think he was saying he bought the computer used.
One obvious reason to delete it would be it is filtering things this person wants access to. I have a feeling only a reload is going to fix this one. Filter software has to get in a browser very deep and the programs were not made to get rid of very easy unless you had the password. Removing part of it would likley take the browser with it. Sure you could chop it in the registry but who knows what would happen.
