I have a home movie that was made with a set top DVD burner from my camcorder. When I put in the DVD, I get a Video_RM folder along with a Video_TS folder. Have been searching forums and it seems that I need to rip to my hard drive with DVD Decrypter.

Did that in IFO mode with no splitting and got one IFO with 1 VOB file. Great. I then load into AutoGK, point to IFO and it says "Several PCGs Were Found", all with different times listed. Some are as short as 30 seconds and some are 25 minutes long.

What do I do here? If I choose the longest one, will it convert all files to xvid? Essentially, I'm looking to end up with just one big AVI of the whole disc.

    Thanks .

Just to add one further question. The size of my original Video_TS folder was 3.1gb. When I ripped with DVD Decrypter, the size of my one and only VOB file is now only 800mb. Was that supposed to happen?

As you can see, I'm very new to this!

    thanks.
