Can anyone give me some hints on the best way to extract MPEGs from your PC and record them onto a standard VHS Video Recorder? What do I need to do this?

You would need a video capture device like a Pyro A/V Link. As long as your VCR allows for audio and video to be passed through it, you should be able to hook your PC and VCR up to the Pyro A/V Link and record MPEG files to VHS.
checkout www.sharbor.com for the Pyro A/V Link.

Thanks for that.I've checked out the item you suggested and it seems like just the thing. Just 2 things: how do I know if this will plug into my soundcard? Do I have to take my PC tp bits to look at it or should there be sockets in the back of the PC? IE one for the audio and one for the video?. Secondly ..have you used this? It reads as if you play the mpeg on your PC, this 'unit' then captures it enabling you to refine/edit it..then you send it to your Video?..is that correct?
