    OK,
I have a 700MB .avi file that I want to make into an MPEG so I can make a VCD. However, when I use TMGPEnc, it says the .mpg file is going to be over 2 gig. I've already done smaller files (200 - 300MB) that have worked fine and stayed close to the original file size. Does anyone have an idea of what is wrong?

VideoCD takes 10MB/10min on average and it _can't_ be changed unlike DivX which can be modified to fit in whatever size you ever wish for.
