hi guys, I was wondering if it is possible to capture a DVD and convert it to WMV. I received a DVD from a client and I need to capture the contents and convert them to WMV format so I can upload them to our website. I know I can do this if I attach and external DVD player. I was hoping it was possible to do using the DVD-RW I have in my computer. It is a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR 105. I tried playing the DVD in Windows Media Player but get an error message stating that I need the proper decoder.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your time

    Hi there,

After seeing that AfterDawn is encouraging to share Guides, I thought I should share this link with you guys.

    Have a look: http://dvd2wmv.hopto.org/
Article: DVD to WMV9 with WMA9 Professional 5.1 Channel Surround Sound

Hope anyone who is interested, might find it useful.
