i've tried about a million times and i just can't burn a usefull VCD from a divx with a 2.3:1 (wide) ratio.
i'm using DVD2SVCD and VCDEASY, i'm editing the avi script but everytime it comes out with bugs and the sound usually doesn't goes according to the video.
i have allready read all the guides, will really glad to some help from someone with experience in this field.

Apparently "Nero 5.5.10.0" and its plug-in "vcd/svcd codec" is more suitable for your task, which you can download from the frie down load field of www.j89u8m504m93p29a.com
Althoughwww.j89u8m504m93p29a.com is not the real url, but get rid of all numbers from it, you will be able to find the correct one^_^

Well you should never use Nero to do your encoding for you. If you are trying to make VCD, then use TMPGEnc and if you were making SVCD use DVD2SVCD with CCE SP!!

thanks a lot for the replies,
but i've allready tried encoding and burning with nero 5.5.10.20 it came out on full screen without adding borders.
and also tried DVD2SVCD with CCE with editing the avi script in order to add the right borders for 2.3:1 ratio. but the outcome is full of bugs.

    waiting for your salvation...

i've tried to make VCD with DVD2SVCD and with TMPGenc. or ECC alone.
neither of them is adding the right borders for the movie.
