I've been trying to convert a 25 minute clip that I dumped from a mini DV camcorder into a quicktime (.mov) file. The file is about 5gb right now and I need the output in quicktime to be around 100mb. Anyone know of any program where I can just set the target file size it will automatically choose the best settings to convert the file for me? Or can anyone recommend a tutorial that I can refer to? The important thing is that the file gets encoded with the sound intact and the video looking decent.
I've tried a few programs like YASA, Mediaencoder, and Xilisoft but they all seem to mess up the sound and I can't get the output close enough to my target of 100mb.
Thanks in advance for any help!
