Converting DivX files

    I recently downloaded 2 movies which are .divX files. I also downloaded 2 more movies in .avi format and converted them to divX format using divX converter software from DivX- after adjusting the audio and video settings. The file size of the 4 movies is 4.20 GB.

    However i just realised that my stand alone dvd player cannot play divx files. Is there any way i can convert theses files back to a format so that they can fit on 1 DVD and play on my DVD player? I do not mind losing out on a bit of quality, but i need the files to play.

    a program called WinAVI Video Converter might be what you need.

    You can also try ConvertXtoDVD.
