Converting From Pal to NTSC Format and Vice-Versa

    My DVd palayer only plays NTSC format, what softwares can I purchase to Convert Pal files to NTSC and Vice-Versa??

    Unless you have a high end player that cost a fortune I recommend you buy another that plays both formats.

    Assuming you have a DVD burner. There are many way with many software to do that. I just show you one way. First, you need to rip the DVD to your hard drive. There used to be only a couple but many software now available. The one I have been using is SmartRipper: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/smartripper.cfm. Then use DVD2AVI to create a project and create wav file. The next step is to use "TMPGne Plus" to re-encode to mpeg2 NTSC format. The next step is to authorize the DVD. I use "TMPGEnc DVD Author" for this. The last step is to burn DVD. I use Nero 6.0.
