First off let me say... I am a big fan of this site and the knowledge found here... I have finally decided to join as a member in seek of more insite and wisdom... I am trying to convert some files that are MKV format that I have into AVI or WMV format... I had a program that did this but so many bugs started popping up that is was impossible to use. i am trying to convert the files for video editing on my computer, the program I use does not recognize MKV formatted videos.. Does anyone here know a good program (free is preferred) I could use to accomplish this.. any help is very much appreciated
