Converting my AVI file to DVD

    hello, I'm a newbie and its my first time posting. I followed all the steps on how to encode avi files to dvds...Im using TMPGENC.My system is a SONY VAIO P4 2.8ghz with 120gb hdd and 512 ram (pretty fast computer) it says it takes my about 40hrs to encode my file..is this right?

    Depending on your settings it the time frama sound about right. That is if you have the highest possible quality setting activated. I usually use the next best quality it works a lot faster and it is still very good video quality.
