converting videos into my computer

    hi
    i just got this new digital camera that i want to use to add video
    movies to my computer.i was told i needed an avi converter to do
    this.how does this work?do i connect this converter to my vcr?or
    to the inputs of my computer.can anyone shed light on this 4 me?

    no, download and install converters like Video Convert Master (it converts video to AVI and others), it doesn't need to be AVI to be played on your computer, take the video file and if itunes supports it you can convert it to MP4, itunes is free so, also try and download codecs for that type of movie file from www.free-codec.com, then windows mediA player can play it, also try and get a video player that supports the video type also please mention what type of file your camera records to
