I am trying to back up movies from different dvds on to one dvd with my own menus.
The problem I am having is that the software won't use the ripped vob files. It says they have to be mpeg2.
Can someone give me a step by step Iam new at this. I have done a lot of vcds and that is simple compared to this. Or maybe I just don't know what I am doing yet.
    Thanks
    Mike

A VOB is an mpeg2 file. Are you having difficulties with TMPGEnc DVD Author?

    Hi Oriphus
I have tried using Nero vision, windvd, tempgenc. Finally, I am using temp dvd author. What I would like to know is the easiest way to take vob files and burn them with my own menu. Also if you know of a good program to create them. Nero vision hasn't worked for me. I will get the vobs loaded and then the program goes back to the initial screen. A simple menu like the nero one used to burn vcds would be great.
    Thanks for you help
    Mike
