I converted a mkv to dvd and it doesn't work in wmp, mpc, or ps2. It only works in my dvd player. It's not a disc problem because i tried the original encodes in wmp and mpc.

VSO is great for encoding, but not so great when it comes to the final burning (tho' some might disagree). What I usually do is to encode with VSO, then turn the encoded video into an iso with Shrink, and burn the iso to disc with Decrypter (you can also use ImgBurn). Or if you have Nero, try encode with VSO but burn with Nero.

    Good luck!

    Hi,

You are right, I disagree :)

I only use VSO CopyToDVD or ConvertXtoDVD to burn my movies.

I use 1st class media (Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden) and burn everything at x4.0

And I get 100% results, have not bomb 1 media in years.

    My personal experience !!!
