I'm using DVDshrink, and I have one question, I will be getting a lend of some copies of films,(don't know how they were copied), I presume there will be no problem making a copy for myself using shrink?

No problem if they used quality media. If the source cannot be read/ripped you will not be able to back it up.

    dobsdave,
If they are copys and the encryption is already broken then all you need to do is use the copy disc feature in nero.

Thanks to both of you, I don't know much about these things. I thought the process somehow had to re-encrypt.
    Thanks again

DVD Decrypter works well for this also. Use .iso read and .iso write. I generally use this method for copying copies myself. If I want more than one copy, the .iso file will still be on the hard drive to use again.
