I have a DVD and CD burner on my PC. I want to copy a DVD. I'm using Nero 7 Essentials - Nero SmartSmart Essentials. The original DVD is DVD+R and the recordable DVD is a DVD-R. I've tried, but Nero is giving me a hard time. Someone help.

You can easily do this by using Nero Recode, but you will also have to have a program that will remove any copy protection on the original DVD...for this I recommend downloading the trial version of AnyDVD (free for 21 days) from here

    http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html?aid=50022

you just open AnyDVD and you will see a Red Fox near your clock to indicate it's running.

Thanks for your reply. Let me just say that the DVD I'm trying to copy is "a copy of a copy." Does this still require that I remove any copy protection?

If the Original has already been copied then there shouldnt be any need for AnyDVD. A little more info from you would be helpfull..eg.. what's a hard time??
