I have captured my homemovies from a canon digital camera. They are now in my movies folder and also win movie maker. How do i now put these onto a disc which i can then watch on a tv. Please be specific regarding type of disc to use as i have been trying this several times using nero and every time i try it it says i am using the wrong type of disc. I have tried DVD-R, DVD+R RW and CD-R, any guidance or advice much appreciatted

    hi Allan7143,
sorry i dont use windows movie maker, prefer nero + a separate encoder.

But to your query. When you transfered the files from your camera to your computer where they in an avi format or some other format. The reason i ask is that if they are not in an mpeg2 compatible format you will need to convert them to this format before nero will reconize them as being in a dvd format for burning.
